Not long after the unveiling of their debut song, 'What Makes You Beautiful,' One Direction have released single No. 2, the mid-tempo 'Gotta Be You.'

The British boy band members sing about trying to make amends for breaking someone's heart: "Girl, I see it in your eyes, you’re disappointed / Cause I’m the foolish one that you anointed with your heart / I tore it apart / And girl, what a mess I made upon your innocence / And no woman in the world deserves this / But here I am asking you for one more chance."

String effects appear as the song heads towards its chorus, where drums back up the boys as they repeat the song title several times, stretching out the falsetto on that last word. The guys never really apologize for the initial breakup, but they sing, "Can we try one more, one more time / I’ll make it better." The lyrics may be a bit cheesy, but what girl could deny these boys a second chance after hearing that sweet cooing?

'Gotta Be You' will be featured on 'Up All Night,' the debut album for One Direction, who met and competed on the U.K. version of 'X Factor' and were mentored by Simon Cowell. The album is currently planned for a November release.
