Liam Payne Shoots Down Rumors He Is Leaving One Direction for Girlfriend Danielle Peazer

BS. That's what Liam Payne is calling the bogus rumors that he's bolting from One Direction because he hates being away from his GF Danielle Peazer. So rest easy, Directioners, Liam Payne is remaining a member of 1D for the foreseeable future. Go ahead, breathe that sigh of relief. We did!

The story began catching fire recently that Payne, 19, was about to bounce because he couldn't bear the thought of being away from Peazer, 24, for four months while he and the boys canvas the States to promote 'Take Me Home.'

There were rumors that Payne wanted Peazer to accompany him on the road, but that the band's label cracked down and nixed that idea so that the boys remain a unit and work as a team while touring.

Off topic for a sec, but we wonder if the label bosses told Harry Styles the same thing when he was squiring Taylor Swift for a few minutes last year!

Okay, back to the Liam drama.

The rumors suggested that Payne was grousing about being separated from his lady love. Liam reportedly said, "I can’t stand being away from Danielle. If it’s between the band and her, I’ll choose her."

A source also chalked up Liam's desire to leave to his homesickness, suggesting the rest of 1D has to "carry" him and boost his spirits while on the road. We'd like to point out the same thing was said about Styles, as his tattoo artist said Hazza got his ship tattoo to remind himself that he is always homeward bound when he misses his native U.K.

The insider claimed that the long promo tours of the U.S. "kill" Payne -- they make Payne feel pain, we guess? -- and he crumbles under the pressures of being on the road. Now that he has reunited with Danielle, having to leave her is ravaging him, because they broke up initially due to the fact that he had to tour and travel for the band.

The source said, "They have grown much closer and really bonded. Liam hates being away from her. He relies on her for so much emotional support. Some of the other lads in the group are the total opposite – they just want to party and chat up girls." Yeah, we sorta doubt that Liam would be such a wimp.

The source further claimed that Liam isn't on the same fame level as Styles or Niall Horan, so he questioned his status and why he is even in the band. Uh, while we know that Boy George got Liam and Niall mixed up, when in the world did Liam Payne become chopped liver? He is a member of 1D, revered and worshipped by teen girls, and he is as beloved as his bandmates. Who doesn't love Liam Payne?

But Liam himself squashed all of this chatter by tweeting how much he loves his job and his fans, and how he is here to stay. Whew and woo-hoo! Order is restored to the 1D universe. And remember, it's not 1D if it's not Harry, Zayn, Niall, Louis and Liam. End o' story.
