Not only did One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer slay the 2014 AMAs last night with their killer performances, they also killed it style-wise with both bands donning matching black ensembles. Whose color-coordinated outfits do you like better?

When One Direction hit the red carpet, it's not uncommon for them to rock similar, all-black outfits -- and their 2014 AMAs look was no exception. Liam seemed to pull a Harry with his leopard print button-down under a black blazer, while Niall donned a badass skull tee. Louis and Zayn both went the more formal route, rocking all-black suits, while Harry went a little funky with a matching black hat and tunic.

5 Seconds of Summer flaunted their punk-rock roots all over the 2014 AMAs red carpet, with Michael rocking some new raspberry dye and one seriously kickass leather jacket. Luke had the whole ripped-jeans thing down-pat, while Calum and Ashton both made plaid look like it was invented for them.
