One Direction vs. Heffron Drive – Pop Clash

After Lady Gaga's 'G.U.Y.' was retired to the Pop Clash Hall of Fame, we're introducing two fresh bands into the competition. This week, we've got One Direction's 'You and I' up against Heffron Drive's 'Parallel.' Who should win the Pop Clash?

One Direction's 'You and I' shows off the guys' vulnerable sides and their incredible vocals. Even Zayn says the romantic song is perfect for a candlelit dinner, which is a major swoon-factor for us. While we love, love, love when 1D are adorably goofy in tracks like 'Best Song Ever,' we can't help but melt with every verse of 'You and I.'

Heffron Drive's 'Parallel' instantly became a fan favorite. How could it not be? The anthemic beat, combined with amazing lyrics, makes this song insanely catchy. Kendall Schmidt told PopCrush that 'Parallel' was one of the most challenging songs he's written, but we think all of the band's work definitely paid off!
