In this Battle of the Brits round, One Direction and the Wanted will compete in a fan-voted poll in order to crown the ultimate boy band of the U.K. It's an age-old rivalry (well, more like a few years old), so let's settle this once and for all -- who is your favorite British (and Irish!) boy band? Are you a true blue Directioner, or do you find yourself fancying the Wanted much more?

The five-piece boy band known One Direction went from 'X Factor' contestants to global superstars almost overnight, gaining success in the States with singles like 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'One Thing.' Since their skyrocket to fame, the spotlight has been glaring on Louis, Liam, Harry, Zayn and Niall, who have recently released hits like 'Kiss You' and 'Little Things.' They have not only dominated the U.K. and the U.S. with sold-out tours, best-selling albums and chart-topping songs, but tons of other countries, as well. They're even releasing a 3D movie ('This Is Us') in 2013, directed by Morgan Spurlock!

Meanwhile, the Wanted were assembled after a massive, 9-month long audition organized by British music mastermind, Jayne Collins. Max, Tom, Siva, Jay and Nathan were the lucky quintet chosen for the Wanted, and the guys went on to see massive success thanks to their pitch-perfect harmonies and dance-y beats on tracks like 'Glad You Came,' 'Chasing the Sun,' and most recently, 'Walks Like Rihanna.' On top of their success in music, their super fun personas and carefree demeanors have landed them their very own reality show on E! ('The Wanted Life').

So, who deserves to be crowned the best boy band of the U.K.? The winner will move on to face another competitor in the Groups + Bands category, and one winner of this category will go on to possible win the overall title of Best British Act in PopCrush's 2013 Battle of the Brits.

This poll will close on Wednesday, July 17, at 2PM EST. You can vote up to once per hour till then. Good luck!
