One year after One Direction's stint on the U.K. edition of 'X Factor,' the boy band returned to the stage to perform their hit single 'Gotta Be You' on the live results show.

Screaming fans watched excitedly as Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson performed an energetic rendition of their latest single from their highly-anticipated debut album, 'Up All Night.' The band also partook in an 'Xtra Factor' interview on the show in which the boys, who finished third on the seventh season of the British singing competition, reviewed several contestants and discussed their strengths.

Later in the interview, Tomlinson kindly dished out advice for the show's hopefuls. "I just think advice for the contestants, generally, is just to enjoy it while it lasts, because we had such a great time on the show and it just goes like that," he said. "It's just such a great experience and a great platform, really."

One Direction are gearing up to unveil their forthcoming album on Nov. 21. The guys just celebrated the release of a set of collectable dolls with their likenesses, which are currently available overseas.
