Get ready OneRepublic fans, because new music is on the way to you! Ryan Tedder says he will point his focus 100% to OneRepublic to get a new album out next year.

In fact, the singer tells Billboard that they will jump into the process in as soon as a few weeks. "We have probably eight or nine ideas, but we start the writing process for OneRepublic in about two weeks, and that's when I really dive in and start doing it and go until it's done," Tedder says. "Our goal is to have the first single on the next album out by the beginning of 2012, or sometime in the early portion of 2012."

Though the band hasn't released a new album since 2009's 'Waking Up,' Tedder has done anything but take a break. He's been writing songs for everyone else -- including B.o.B, Carrie Underwood, Gavin DeGraw, Colbie Caillat, Beyonce and Cobra Starship -- to name a few.

In his chat with Billboard, Tedder was quoted calling Underwood "one of the top three vocalists I've ever worked with." He's also finishing up a Cobra Starship album, and has been working with will.i.am, Benny Blanco and RedOne on five K'naan tracks.

But he seemed most excited by B.o.B's upcoming work: "The last song I did with B.o.B sounds like nothing he's ever done," the OneRepublic frontman reveals. "It's almost like if B.o.B got in the room with Fleet Foxes and Mumford & Sons, or something like that. It's a total trip, and musically divergent from anything I've ever done."

We just hope that Tedder gets as pumped about his own album as he is about working with others, because the OneRepublic fans have been waiting anxiously for the band's solo return!
