OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder's busy career as a songwriter and producer for other artists has been keeping him tied up for the last few years, but he hasn't given up his day job -- and the band will prove it on March 26 when they release their third album, 'Native.'

Tedder opened up about the new record in an interview with Billboard, expressing his excitement about making a fresh start with the band and saying, "We're stoked to actually have this thing come out because we haven't put out an album in three years now and frankly I don't really want to do that again. I think the world's changed, musically and that's like the worst thing you can do as an artist today is to just disappear for three years. To just go away."

The album's first single, 'If I Lose Myself' (embedded below) made its public debut during the band's performance on 'Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve' on Dec. 31, and although it was selected by committee, Tedder told Billboard it still ended up being the only logical choice; as he put it, "Fortunately everyone came to the same conclusion about what should be the lead single."
