To say the Oscars hit a few snags last night would be, um, an understatement.

And while the La La Land/Moonlight snafu in the show's final moments was certainly the most obvious standout moment to discuss around the water cooler at work this morning, there was another hugely embarrassing moment that happened — only it wasn't quite as obvious.

During the "In Memoriam" montage that aired on the show and featured a somber performance by Sara Bareilles, Oscars producers honored late Australian costume designer and four-time Oscar nominee, Janet Patterson, who died in Sydney back in October of last year.

The only problem? The photo they used was...not of her, but rather her very-much-still-alive friend, Australian film producer Jan Chapman.

"Chapman, as noted by friends, is very much alive and well, working in Sydney, most recently producing The Daughter, starring Geoffrey Rush, and hit thriller The Babadook, reports THR.

“I was devastated by the use of my image in place of my great friend and long-time collaborator Janet Patterson. I had urged her agency to check any photograph which might be used and understand that they were told that the Academy had it covered. Janet was a great beauty and four-time Oscar nominee and it is very disappointing that the error was not picked up. I am alive and well and an active producer," Chapman told Variety in an email statement.
