The nominees for the 88th Annual Oscars are being announced early this morning (January 14).

Actor John Krasinski, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs and directors Guillermo del Toro and Ang Lee will announce the nominations, spanning the Oscars’ 24 categories, during a live press conference at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

The 88th Academy Awards, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, will air live on ABC on February 28 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, CA, beginning at 8:30 PM ET. Comedian Chris Rock will return to host the prestigious awards show for a second time, the first of which took place back in 2005.
