Sad news for fans of the popular YouTube group, Our Second Life: It looks like the boys — JC Caylen, Ricky Dillon, Kian Lawley, Trevor Moran and Sam Pottoff — have decided to part ways, as the group is now calling it quits.

Despite being together for more than two years, they made the choice to stop posting videos to their YouTube channel. The good news? They plan on remaining friends. JC cited their different schedules and interests as the reasoning behind the split, saying: "All of us are doing our own individual thing right now, and we are getting so busy with everything getting caught up. And so we don’t want to put in half the effort into one thing while we’re doing half the effort with another thing.”

Ricky went on to say: “We just feel like lately it’s not been at our highest, and we all agree that whenever we do certain work we want it to be our absolute best. And we feel like lately this has not been our best. We don’t want to keep doing something that can’t be our best.”

They ended the video by thanking their fans and talking about how grateful they are for the support they’ve received over the year and how unexpected their success has been. Each member will be posting his own, individual farewell video throughout the rest of the week.

Fans had #o2lforever trending on Twitter earlier, and other popular YouTubers like Shane Dawson and Troye Sivan also tweeted about the breakup. You can check those tweets out below:

The split comes a few months after one of their founding members, Connor Franta, left the group, also to focus on his own videos.
