On Saturday, August 13, Pandora took over L.A. Live in Los Angeles for its #SummerCrush celebration. Hosted by Youtube personality Meredith Foster, the pop-up festival brought together Fergie, 5 Seconds of Summer and Daya for outdoor performances and a colossal live stream.

Daya opened up the event with "Sit Still, Look Pretty" reworked with an edgier sound, but still just as easy to sing along with. Backed by a two-piece band consisting of a drummer and guitarist-keyboardist, all of Daya's songs got the rock treatment, bringing them to life in a new, rawer way in the live realm. She touched on the bulk of tracks from her eponymous EP as well as a new track, "Cool," that’s slated to appear on her upcoming full-length. She went solo for "Back to Me," accompanying herself on the piano. And it wouldn’t be a celebration of summer without her hit Chainsmokers collaboration "Don’t Let Me Down," which elicited loud cheers and led into her debut single “Hideaway” to finish off her set.

Fergie appeared next, powering through a career-spanning set that was plagued by technical difficulties. She got things started off with full renditions of previous solo hits including “London Bridge” and “Glamorous” from The Dutchess, along with her new "M.I.L.F. $" single before segueing into a mash-up medley of her hits with The Black Eyed Peas. Sandwiched alongside "Imma Be" and "My Humps," she managed to run through her guest verse on Kanye’s “All of the Lights” as well as Great Gatsby soundtrack contribution "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" and finally, the full version of "I Gotta Feeling” as her encore. The sweetest moment of the set? Fergie leading the crowd in an audience-wide singalong of "Happy Birthday" for her son Axl, who stood off to the side of the stage with husband Josh Duhamel and her parents.

Not too long after sunset, headliners 5 Seconds of Summer tore out onto stage, alive with energy and ready to rock. Lead singer Luke Hemmings admitted that their week off in Los Angeles had them feeling a little rusty, but his admission was the only evidence. While fans practically fainted in the front row, the quartet ran through a charged set of over a dozen songs to close out the night. Check out photos from Daya and 5SOS' sets above.
