Parachute fans, listen up! With less than one week to go before the Aug. 13 release of the band's third album, 'Overnight,' PopCrush is giving you a chance to hear a brand new song from the record.

'Drive You Home' is a track that Parachute have been performing live for the past few months. It's easy to hear why the song has gotten such a good reception in concert. The studio version is a polished recording that builds up to an emotional climax as Will Anderson sings, "When it’s over and the thrill is gone / If you come back and you got it wrong / You know that you don’t have to leave, you don’t have to go / Yes when it’s over, let me drive you home."

The song blends piano and guitars into an appealing pop-rock style somewhat reminiscent of Coldplay, but it takes things a step further with the addition of a slightly up-tempo beat that makes the song danceable. A chorus of "ooh-ooh-oohs" carries the track as it winds down toward the finish.

'Drive You Home' is one of 11 tracks on 'Overnight.' Keep reading PopCrush over the next week for more info on the new album — and maybe even another song premiere!
