Holy Paramore, Batman! This band has been sincerely hiding under the radar for quite sometime. They finally made an appearance Tuesday night (Aug. 14) in Pomona, Calif. (seriously, hasn't it been like... forever since we've seen the band?) and performed a plethora of their hits, including crowd favorites 'The Only Exception' and 'Hallelujah.' It marks the first time in a year that Paramore has taken the stage.

"Our band has been a little bit of a soap opera since day one," said frontwoman Hayley Williams, still rocking her bright red 'do, to the crowd at Pomona's Fox Theater "So I think that's why I'm more grateful than ever to be standing on a stage in front of people."

Paramore has had a few shake-ups recently -- brothers Josh and Zac Farro leaving the band in early 2011 being the greatest shake-up of all. And as the band got ready to perform their song 'Ignorance' (which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard chart) to the sold out crowd, Williams announced, "Let's let this song be a reminder of how it's never going to be again." Fightin' words.

But never fear Paramore fans, because the band is bouncing back in a big way. They have plans to release their upcoming fourth album in 2013 and Williams recently posted an entry on her blog referencing the new album.

“We’re only about two weeks away from actually putting music to tape,” Williams wrote. “No, we aren’t recording this album analog but hopefully you’ll understand the expression,” she added. “We’ve already gone through all the songs that we have hoped would make it this far and they — about 19 — of them are ready to be recorded."

She continues, “This doesn’t mean that we are going to have that many tracks on the album, but it does mean that for the first time in the history of our band, we are going to record more than we actually need for an album and end up with more than a few extra tracks to play around with after the fact. It’s really been a fun process for us."
