We thought we had seen the last of Paris Hilton the singer after her self-titled debut 'Paris' in 2006! Not so fast, kids. The former queen of "famous for being famous" -- that title has been usurped by Kim Kardashian -- is in the house tonight! She is resurrecting her dormant music career and she's getting some help from party rockers LMFAO. Before you go and LYFAO, give it a chance, as Hilton has the loot to recruit major talent to make her album at least sound good.

The hotel heiress told MTV News at a Golden Globes after-party that she is still working with club producer Afrojack, hitting the studio day and night. If you liked Hilton's sank-like-a-stone single 'Stars Are Blind,' expect a newer, better, more improved Paris Hilton outta the gates on this one!

"It's completely different from my last album. I'm going with a whole new genre. I have Afrojack executive-producing the entire album. So we've just been coming up with the most incredible tracks," she said. "I was just in the studio with RedFoo the other night, so we're going to be doing my new single with LMFAO."

Paris said that we can expect new music this summer, and revealed that her collab with RedFoo and Sky Blu is the result of nepotism… sort of! She said, "I've known them since I was a little girl. We grew up together 'cause our parents are friends, so I'm just so proud of them and all their success and what they've done 'cause they've just created this whole 'Party Rock' brand and it's just so awesome."

Hilton was also quick to remind fans that while her sex tapes and socialite antics were what garnered her the most fame, she is a music nerd at heart. She admitted, "I think a lot of people don't know that music is my passion since I was a little girl." She wasn't modest either, proclaiming, "I'm very musically talented." Clearly, she thinks highly of herself. Hilton continued, "This is more my thing [musically on this album], more of a club scene, more dance. ... The single's done; it's in the can. That's probably going to be out [within] the next month or two."

PopCrush readers, what's your take? Do we really need new Paris Hilton music? Are you willing to give her a chance since she linked up with her old pals LMFAO?
