Paris Jackson was a proud daddy's girl, she says in a new interview with Harper's Bazaar

Jackson, who recently signed a deal with IMG Models, says being late pop star Michael Jackson's lone daughter amounted to a special relationship that could not be replicated. And while Michael also had two other sons, Paris notes he definitely had a favorite.

“When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers," she said. "Growing up, I was treated as the favorite because I was the only girl. I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad’s eyes.”

On the internet, conversely, Paris has frequently been the target of criticism and vitriol. Still, she said she's learned how to take baseless hate in stride and even use it as fuel to succeed.

“You’re on their mind — how is that a bad thing?” she noted. “Doesn’t matter if they’re saying good or bad things about you. They’re thinking about you enough to write about you.”

"You just can’t care," she added. "Not everybody is going to be happy with what you do. If you’re not happy with what you’re doing, that’s a problem. If you’re happy, who gives a f---?”
