Guess those magazine covers and fashion spreads weren't just for fun — Paris Jackson, son of pop icon Michael Jackson, has announced she's officially signed with a big-time modeling agency.

Jackson, who shot a beauty spread for CR Fashion Book just weeks ago, announced on Instagram yesterday (February 2) that she's found a new home at IMG Models. For reference, Gisele Bündchen, Chanel Iman and Lara Stone are all part of the IMG family.

"Thank you @imgmodels i feel very lucky and blessed" she wrote with a shot that finds her posed erectly and dressed in a stark white gown.

And while Jackson's jumping into modeling with both feet, she's not necessarily looking to pursue other facets of entertainment. In a corresponding interview with CR Fashion Book, Jackson said she didn't have any interest in following in the footsteps of her father, Michael, and becoming a pop star.

“I write music for myself,” she said. “I use it as a way to get stuff out. It’s not something I see myself following careerwise. There are so many amazing artists in my family. If I were to do it as a career, it would change how I feel about music, and I don’t want that to happen.”
