Lesson learned: Ruin Sharon Osbourne's moment in the limelight and she'll literally kick your ass.

Last night (January 6), during an otherwise status quo broadcast of the 42nd People's Choice Awards, a stage-crasher hijacked The Talk panelists' acceptance speech after a win for Favorite Daytime Hosting Team. Show creator and personality Sara Gilbert had just begun to thank viewers for embracing daytime TV's "oddballs" when a man dressed in a maroon leather jacket jumped in front of the microphone to shout out rapper Kevin Gates' name.

The ladies, known for their sometimes biting opinions, didn't take too kindly to the intrusion — particularly Osbourne, who dealt the man a swift quick and a pair of middle fingers before Sheryl Underwood pushed him off-stage.

"You ain't gonna pull no Steve Harvey up in here!" Underwood demanded reclaiming the mic. "No, sir! Security!"

"That guy is not in our club," Aisha Tyler noted a bit more diplomatically to the shocked crowd as Gilbert got back to her speech.

Jane Lynch hosted the show, which included performances by Jason Derulo, who mashed up new track "Get Ugly" with "Want To Want Me," and Shawn Mendes, who sang "Stitches" before Camila Cabello joined for an "I Know What You Did Last Summer" duet.

Watch the strange, brief moment above, and tell us if it made you cringe!
