Perrie Edwards Explains Why She and Zayn Malik Have Not Set a Wedding Date

While the whole world -- or at least the majority of the One Direction and Little Mix fandoms -- are waiting on pins and needles for Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards to tie the knot, it's clear that the happy couple are in no rush to walk down the aisle. And now, Perrie is explaining why.

After being asked when they will tie the knot, the Little Mix singer gave pretty much the same response that her 1D fiance has recently:

"We have no idea," she responded (quote via Sugarscape). "We're just going with the flow, we're just happy to be engaged and enjoying it."

And that's not just lip service, either -- the pop star cuties recently went shopping for home decor together, making a shopkeeper's entire day when they posed for a picture with her and just generally behaved like "the perfect couple." So cute!

"We'll get there eventually when we're not too busy to make it perfect," Perrie added.

There you have it, Directioners and Mixers: Zerrie want to make their wedding day the best it can be, and they're both just too swamped right now (um, with their crazy successful careers!) to devote that time into what they want to make the best day of their lives. They're both just 21 and at the top of their careers right now, so we can totally see why they just want to enjoy the engagement before actually tying the knot. We actually think it's a good thing that they're waiting until the time is right instead of rushing into marriage. Smart move, Zerrie!
