Zayn and Perrie Aren’t Married Yet, Relax

Perrie Edwards upset many people the other day, when a video clip indicated that she may have done the unthinkable and actually married her fiance, Zayn Malik.

A video surfaced online showing Perrie daring to utter her eventual married name (if she takes Zayn's surname, of course), Perrie Malik. Then the rest of Little Mix did the exact same thing, saying their first name paired with their boyfriend's last name until it got to Jade because she's a loveless loser with no one to hold at night (we're being sarcastic, in case you couldn't tell, as a situation this ridiculous calls for it).

Fans and haters alike focused solely on Perrie and were sent into such a tizzy that the group's rep was forced to officially dispel the rumors of a secret wedding. They said (via E! News), "The three girls in the group with boyfriends say their first name and their boyfriend's last name and Jade says 'I'm Jade' with no last name because she doesn't have a boyfriend. They were teasing her. Nothing more."

There you have it, the whole point was to shame Jade for being single, as good friends do. Worry not, internet -- Zayn is still unmarried for the time being.

But here's the thing: It's going to happen eventually. At some point in the (probably distant) future, Perrie Edwards and Zayn Malik are going to have a wedding ceremony inducting them into the world of married life. So it shouldn't really matter whether they elope, have a super secret ceremony for close friends and family or have a lavish wedding sponsored by PEOPLE magazine with full-page photo spreads of the event.

The sooner we all come to accept it, the happier we'll be when photos of Perrie's wedding dress hit the internet.
