Pharrell (and his ten-gallon hat!) danced his way to happiness during the performance of his latest hit, 'Happy,' at the 2014 Oscars.

Pharrell performed the tune (which is nominated for Best Original Song from 'Despicable Me 2') with a wealth of energetic backup dancers. But no one quite had the moves like the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress nominees, who all shook it like pros.

As Pharrell descended into the audience, he rocked it with Lupita Nyong'o, shimmied back and forth with Meryl Streep and swayed with Amy Adams. The actresses all had a blast -- and hey, maybe it helped alleviate some of their nerves.

And Pharrell, of course, embodied the song's message of cheerfulness, producing an upbeat performance with a smile on his face. Watch his performance above!
