There's enough space in the sky for more than one high-flying pop star, Pink has insisted after Lady Gaga's Super Bowl 51 performance.

Gaga's set, which found the singer suspended from the roof of Houston's NRG Stadium with Cirque du Soleil-worthy cables and pulleys, included hits like "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" and wowed fans with its fantastic Peter Pan quality. Still, some viewers couldn't help but see the routine as derivation of Pink, who's been including acrobatic elements in her concerts since 2009 (her "Glitter in the Air' performance at the 2010 Grammys is an especially memorable moment for fans).

"Yo lady Gaga stole pink's whole acrobatic routine lmao," one Twitter user wrote, while another noted "Y'all, Pink is PISSED that Lady Gaga copied her acroyoga gimmick."

Pink, however, swooped in to shut down copycat accusations, and praised Gaga for risking it all to be bold.

"[Gaga's] voice was powerful and beautiful, her outfits were on point, choreography stellar, her heart was in it and she sang about love and inclusiveness," Pink wrote in an Instagram post. "Let's celebrate a woman who has the guts to jump off a roof and stand up there in the first place. Who cares if I flew first? Cause I didn't! Cirque and Peter Pan been in the air for years!"

Beautiful sentiment but...did Gaga really jump off the roof? Hmm...
