As our first-ever Pop Clash champion, Pink's latest hit single 'Just Give Me a Reason' will go on to compete in another round! Ms. Moore's fans worked hard to secure her almost 80% of the votes, meaning she pretty much crushed Rihanna's 'Stay' underneath her spiked stilettos. Congrats to Pink and her collabo partner, fun. frontman Nate Ruess!

For this week's Pop Clash battle, Pink is taking on Demi Lovato and the former Disney star's 2013 single 'Heart Attack.' While both of the midtempo tunes are love songs at the surface, each has its own unique message delivered in very different ways.

On 'Just Give Me a Reason,' Pink and Ruess take turns singing the melancholy, wishful verses about mending a relationship and working together through the most difficult of times. With their powerful vocals blending together over the rousing drums and strings, Ruess and Pink belt, "Oh tear ducts and rust / I'll fix it for us / We're collecting dust / But our love's enough." It's a sad yet hopeful reflection from the talented entertainer, one with lots of raw emotion and big, beautiful notes.

Conversely, Demi Lovato doesn't sing about trying to fix a romance, but instead the wariness that often comes along with new love on 'Heart Attack.' Once again, Lovato exercises the full potential of her pipes as her voice rises on the chorus: "Puttin’ my defenses up / 'Cause I don’t wanna fall in love / If I ever did that / I think I’d have a heart attack." Her strong vocal performance is enough to have you singing along, but the song also has a simple yet infectious beat that will certainly stick in your head upon listening.

Take a listen to Pink's 'Just Give Me a Reason' and Demi Lovato's 'Heart Attack' below and vote for your favorite track once per hour. The poll will close on March 11, 2013 at 3PM ET. Good luck!

Rules of Pop Clash: The artist and song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a different challenger the following week. If an artist wins four weeks in a row, they will be retired into the Pop Clash Hall of Fame in order to give others a chance to compete.
