The Plain White T's may have recently adopted a sunny, California pop sound, but don't be fooled! The band hail from the snowy, windy city of Chicago and are proud of it.

Frontman and guitarist Tom Higgenson was in a slew of bands during his formative years, joining forces with bassist Ken Fletcher and inviting drummer Tirio to form what became the first incarnation of the Plain White T's in 1997.

The group achieved mainstream success when their track 'Hey There Delilah,' off of their third album 'All That We Needed,' soared to No. 1 in July 2007 -- two years after the actual album was released! The song earned two Grammy nods and helped propel the band's new direction toward a pop, rather than a punk, act.

The Plain White T's followed up with a sunnier sound thanks to singles like '1,2,3,4' and 'The Rhythm of Love,' each resting comfortably on the charts and in radio listeners' heads.

On April 9, 2013, the band released a new four-song EP called 'Should've Gone to Bed,' which you can download over on iTunes.
