Pop Stars Show Off Patriotism Prior to 2012 Election – Picture Perfect

The 2012 presidential election is right around the corner, and from the look of things, it seems as if most pop stars are in support of President Barack Obama. We’ve collected pictures of singers like Beyonce, Katy Perry and others showing their support for our current president’s re-election, from holding fundraising events for Obama to sporting Obama-themed manicures and dresses.
While Mitt Romney has proven a worthy opponent, it seems like Obama has won over the celebrity circle, with his supporters including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and more. Beyonce and her hubby Jay-Z are very outspoken about their support of Obama, and they recently raised a ton of money for Obama’s campaign at their 40/40 club fundraiser, which President Obama attended. While there, he posed for pictures with the famous power couple, sharing a laugh with Bey and Jay and brushing that dirt off his shoulders.
Then there’s the huge amount of younger pop stars like Justin Bieber, Victoria Justice, Big Time Rush and Taylor Swift who have either participated in events (like the White House Christmas concert or Michelle Obama’s Day of Play) or met the Obama family. Justin Bieber also likes to take his support one step further (despite the fact that he can’t vote being Canadian), like posing for a funny picture with an Obama wax statue.
There are also celebrities like Kesha and Miley Cyrus, who haven’t been too clear on their political stances, but sport patriotic garb to show their love for America as a whole. Then there’s Snoop Dogg, who has formulated a very detailed (and hilarious) list of reasons why he is voting for Obama as opposed to Mitt Romney. Check out all of these patriotic pop star pictures and let us know who you’re supporting in the comments below.
