PopCrush Mini-Mix 5: Featuring Lorde, Jason Derulo, Zedd + More [LISTEN]

It's Friday, PopCrushers! Let your weekend begin right here with the fifth installment of the PopCrush Mini-Mix. This week, the mix features some sick remixes of pop tunes by Lorde, Jason Derulo, Zedd and more.

The mix starts out with a hyped-up version of Lorde's 'Team,' which features a heavy synth background beat, occasionally interspersed with small hints of rap. The R&B undertone helps to smoothly transition the mix to the next song, which is Jason Derulo's infectious hit 'Talk Dirty.' If there's one track that perfectly fits the weekend mood, it's this one!

American Authors are up next, with their smash hit 'Best Day of My Life.' Though the song is a more mellow tune, it gives us that music festival vibe that fits in perfectly in the middle of the eclectic mix. At the end of the song, the mix soon transitions back into party mode, with a sped-up version of Flo Rida's 'I Cry.' Of course, Zedd's heavy electronic beat is present on 'Find You,' which is probably the most club-like song on the mix, perfect for a wild night out on the town.

The mix ends with Cash Cash's 'Take Me Home,' which is the ultimate end-of-the-night song: It boasts that upbeat, party sound -- but with sweet vocals that have been flawlessly mixed with some heavier electronic beats in our mix.
