President Obama Was ‘Intimidated’ by Lady Gaga
It wasn't exactly a meeting of the minds when the Mother Monster and Barry O. had a chance encounter in San Francisco late last week. Lady Gaga had tweeted that she wanted to meet with President Barrack Obama to discuss the epidemic of bullying and to attempt to devise a solution by talking to him at a campaign fundraiser they were both planning on attending. Turns out, at that very event, Gaga and Obama had a chance meeting that the president labeled "intimidating."
Why was the leader of the free world intimidated by the Mother Monster, who is super sweet under all of that blonde hair, fake stage blood and leather? Why, it was her platform heels, of course. They were a foot-and-a-half high when she crossed paths with Obama.
"She was wearing 16-inch heels. She was eight feet tall. It was a little intimidating,” President Obama said on Saturday at the annual Human Rights Campaign gala in Washington, D.C., according to ABC News.
At least Obama is well aware of the biggest pop star on the planet. Maybe one day they will get that time together to discuss how to put a stop the epidemic of bullying, which is causing at-risk teens to take their lives. Hopefully, next time around, her heels won't be so distracting.
