‘Pretty Little Liars’ vs. ‘The Vampire Diaries': Which TV Show Is Your Favorite? – Readers Poll

'Pretty Little Liars' and 'The Vampire Diaries' have been two of the hottest shows on television since the former premiered in 2010 and the latter debuted in 2009.

While the shows have different premises -- one being about high school beauties dealing with mad drama, and the other about high school beauties and vampires dealing with mad drama -- the twists and turns within the dark plot lines make these two TV smashes somewhat comparable.

We want to know: Which of these TV shows (which both have four seasons to date) do you eagerly await to watch every week? Are you a devoted 'Pretty Little Liars' viewer, or do you think 'The Vampire Diaries' is the all-time best TV show?

It's not like we need to explain 'Pretty Little Liars,' since most of you probably know what it's about, so we'll just give you a brief rundown. The show follows four friends -- Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery, Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin, Spencer Hastings as Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell as Emily Fields -- whose relationships begin to crumble after the disappearance of their clique's HBIC, Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse). Mad dramz up in Rosewood, yo.

Then there's 'The Vampire Diaries,' starring Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert, a character who is entangled in a love triangle between two blood-sucking brothers, Stefon (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerholder). In Season 4, Elena was going through lots of "changes" -- we don't want to give anything away if you haven't tuned in yet! -- and a new villain was introduced in the story, which is set in Mystic Falls where all sorts of crazy supernatural phenomena takes place.
