Psy Plans to Alter Song Title to Avoid Offending Arabs

There’s no denying that Psy is an international superstar. So it shouldn’t surprise us that the Korean viral sensation is altering the name of a song title to avoid offending a whole entire region of the Earth.
According to the Huffington Post, the title of one of Psy’s new tracks translates to ‘Assarabia’ or ‘Assaravia’ in English. Probably a good move on Psy’s part to change the title as it could offend a conservative sector of the Arab World.
We’re also guessing that K-pop star’s track would have a sense of humor to it. It’s good to not take yourself so seriously, Psy. That’s why we all fell in love with you in the first place!
The singer took to Twitter to clear up any rumors that this track would be his single, tweeting:
. @billboard It’s Korean slang & spell is #assaraVia & Not gonna be a single anyway…THX for ya regard

Psy is very much trying not to leave the public eye as a one-hit wonder. He released an EP of remixes of his hit song, which included reworks by Diplo and Afrojack with features by 2 Chainz and Tyga. He’s also the face of a Korean cosmetics line! We have a feeling Psy won’t be giving up the spotlight anytime soon… for better or for worse!
