Actress Queen Latifah has teamed up with Cam'ron to back his new film project titled 'Percentages.' Under Latifah's production banner Flavor Unit Films, she is co-producing the movie with Cam who launched an entertainment company called KFU Productions with longtime partner Jacob York.

Directed by Alex Merkin, 'Percentages' is a crime drama starring Cam'ron and Omar Gooding as two criminal who are on the run from drug dealers in New York. They escape to Miami where the duo builds a new empire in the world of credit-card fraud. But their money-making scheme brings them unwanted attention from both law enforcement and Miami’s most infamous gangsters. Actors Ving Rhames, Malinda Williams and Macy Gray also star in the film.

“Cam did the story, and then we brought in a writer to really tighten the script,” York told AllHipHop.com. “The movie was originally supposed to be the follow up to 'Killa Season,' but we decided to make a brand new movie since the script was so good.”

Production on the film has already started in Miami where Flavor Unit Films is based. “Queen Latifah and [her co-partner] Shakim Compere have a soundstage here in Miami and this is the first film that they are developing on the new soundstage," says York. In addition, Cam’ron will executive-produce the accompanying soundtrack to 'Percentages,' which is scheduled to hit theaters in 2012.
