Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen Welcome Baby Girl Briar Rose

Aww! US Weekly has confirmed from multiple sources that Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen welcomed their first child today (Nov. 6) and we couldn't be happier for the couple!

Rachel and Hayden decided to name their newborn baby girl Briar Rose. For all you Disney fans, you probably recognize the Princess name, but for everyone else -- it's a reference to the classic film -- and Grimm Brothers tale -- 'Sleeping Beauty.' In it, the three fairies attempt to shield Princess Aurora from Maleficent's curse by referring to her as Briar Rose. Considering Rachel and Hayden are the kind of couple who look like they stepped right out of the pages of a fairytale, we're pretty sure Briar Rose is the perfect name for their baby!

Rachel and Hayden first began dating after meeting on the set of the 2008 movie 'Jumper,' which eventually led to an engagement. It was called off in 2010, but the couple rekindled their relationship three months later.
