Rachel Crow might have earned herself a spot in the 'X Factor' semi-finals tonight with two strong performances on the show. The teen is only one of five contestants left in the competition, and she proved that she was in it to win it with her first song, which was a lively rendition of Bruno Mars' hit tune 'Nothin' on You.'

Accompanied by a fleet of backup dancers, Crow delivered a fun, energetic performance of the feel-good Bruno Mars track. The young 'X Factor' hopeful grooved along with the uptempo beat and put her own spin on the vocals, delivering big soulful notes at times to show off her vast vocal range. Once again, we agree with Simon Cowell's assessment when he said, "Sometimes, with girls your age, you have to sell to grandmas -- but you shouldn't. You should be selling to teenagers. [It was a] great song."

When Crow took the stage for the second time, she had to perform a song of her own choice. Crow, who is only 13 years old, had just one night to prepare her second performance after 'X Factor' messed up the performance scheduling. Despite this bump in the road, Crow did Michael Jackson proud as she sang his 1973 track 'Music and Me.'

Like her first time on the stage, Crow managed to keep the performance youthful and soulful beyond her years simultaneously. Although we weren't really wowed by her rendition of 'Music and Me,' she still impressed us with the performance. You can always tell how much Crow really feels the words and music of songs -- especially one like 'Music and Me' that holds a personal meaning for her. After Crow hit the finals notes of the song, Nicole Scherzinger told the contestant, "Baby, you're like an old soul in a 13-year-old."

So, were her performances enough to get her through to the next round? We will find out if Rachel Crow advances tomorrow, when the semi-finalists are announced!
