Ralph Lauren's Fall 2013 Accessories collection commercial features a series of adorable rescue dogs and a quirky pop song from a female singer. Who's behind the pretty voice in the ad?

The singer is Marion Gaume, better known as Mesparrow. Her original moniker was Miss Sparrow, but she changed it because she didn't like the look of the three S's in a row. Mesparrow is from France, but the song in the ad, 'Neighbour's Dream,' is sung in English.

The melodic song is a nice match for the upbeat tone of the ad. Mesparrow sings, "Take the time on the way to your job / Jump on the wall to see life from above / Walls become thousands of ways / Leading your steps to the great escape."

Ralph Lauren teamed up with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals for the video, which runs for two minutes and 26 seconds. The commercial uses an urban setting with fake storefronts, with the sidewalk serving as the runway as the models and their pooches strut through town. The ad is cleverly shot in black and white, except for a few random accessories, which are shown in vivid colors.

Through Nov. 15, Ralph Lauren has pledged to donate 10% from sales of all the accessories in the commercial to the ASPCA.

'Neighbour's Dream' appears on Mesparrow's album 'Keep This Moment Alive.' The singer lists Billie Holiday, Patti Smith, the Doors and Cat Power as her influences.
