Former 'American Idol' judge Randy Jackson and wife Erika Jackson are splitting up after 18 years of marriage.

TMZ has learned that Erika Jackson filed for divorce at the Los Angeles Central District Court. The papers cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The two have been married since 1995.

The documents reveal that Erika is seeking spousal support, as well as full physical custody and joint legal custody of their 17-year-old son named Jordan. They also have a daughter who is now an adult.

Randy's marriage to Erika was his second: he was previously married to Elizabeth Jackson and had one daughter with her named Taylor.

Randy Jackson appeared on 'American Idol' during the show's first 12 seasons. He later replaced Jimmy Iovine in Season 13 as the show's in-house mentor. No word yet on whether Jackson will be appearing on the show's upcoming 14th season.
