Ain't nothin' funky about domestic violence. According to CNN, the raspy voiced '80s rapper Tone Loc is currently facing a felony domestic violence charge after a dispute with the mother of his child in Berkeley, Calif. on Saturday. The hip-hop star posted the $50,000 bond after spending fewer than three hours in lock up.

Recently, the hip-hop star, real name Anthony Terrell Smith, has been living up to his 'Wild Thing' status. According to TMZ, Tone Loc was also arrested in December for DUI after Los Angeles police spotted the rapper driving erratically. Loc posted the $5,000 bond but insisted he was not driving under the influence. He claimed he suffered a seizure brought on by possible food poisoning.

Tone Loc had two platinum hits in the late '80s with 'Funky Cold Medina' and 'Wild Thing.' He released a second album in the 1991, but was unable to match the runaway success of his debut album, 'Loc-Ed After Dark.'
