Since the announcement that Whitney Houston's death was caused by accidental drowning and that cocaine was found in her system, serious allegations have been thrown at Ray J, Houston's significant other. Leolah Brown, sister of Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown, claims the R&B crooner provided the late pop icon with cocaine before she died.

On the March 23 episode of CNN's 'Headline News' with Dr. Drew, Brown alleges that she saw Ray J leaving Houston's hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hotel in a hurry before her death. She also claims that Ray J was not Houston's boyfriend but her "runner boy" and often supplied her with drugs. For the record, Dr. Drew said that CNN/HLN could not independently confirm or deny Leolah Brown's claims.

But a spokesperson for Ray J has vehemently denied the allegations, telling US Weekly that Brown's statements were "rife with false statements."

"Even though Leolah Brown was no where near the Beverly Hilton Hotel on the day Whitney Houston died, Ms. Brown falsely claimed that Ray J was at the hotel and contributed to Whitney Houston's death," Ray J's rep says. "Even the most minimal inquiry with anyone actually in contact with Whitney would reveal that Leolah Brown had been out of contact with Whitney for more than a year."

Ray J's reps also told TMZ that he had no knowledge of Houston using drugs again and at the time of her death, the singer was in San Diego, Calif. Ray J also publicly denied that he owns a sex tape featuring him and Houston.

As we previously reported, Ray J has been grieving over Houston's death and will continue to honor her memory. "What my heart feels cannot be expressed in words. The world lost an icon, but I lost my close friend," he said. “Nippy I miss you so much. You were so happy and full of love. Your smile will live in my heart forever."
