Ray J Released From Hospital After Undergoing Blood Clot Tests

Ray J is on the mend after being hospitalized in Las Vegas Monday morning (May 21) due to exhaustion and jet leg from his long flight to and from China. E! Online is reporting that the singer is in good health and recuperating at his home in Los Angeles.

Ray J's rep said he underwent a series of tests to make sure he didn't have a blood clot in his lungs, which is a potentially deadly condition that occurs after a long international plane flight.

The rep noted that this was the same condition that killed the late rapper Heavy D and Ray J's handlers were making sure that he was okay. The singer arrived in Los Angeles on May 20 after his 32-hour roundtrip flight from China and drove four hours to attend the 2012 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

It was at the BBMAs where Ray J reportedly got into a brief confrontation with Whitney Houston's sister-in-law Pat Houston who didn't want him at the ceremony. Pat and Bobbi Kristina were there to accept the Millennium Award on behalf of Whitney.

Ray J, who use to date Whitney, complained to friends that "Pat ruined what was a great opportunity to honor the woman who I loved."
