At 14, Rebecca Black has her eyes set on big goals and is dreaming even bigger. The viral-video-star-turned-aspiring-singer doesn't have high hopes that her brand new single, 'My Moment,' will be able to top her 'Friday' fame, though.

"It's crazy to think [about 'Friday']. I was really nervous about 'My Moment' coming out because I thought, 'I don't think I'll be able to even beat 'Friday' myself,'" she told MTV News. "'Friday' was so big, and it's hard: I feel like it'll be hard to break the 'Friday' record."

Unfortunately, Rebecca is probably right. Calling her 'Friday' video a viral Internet sensation doesn't even begin to touch the success it garnered on YouTube when it first hit the web earlier this year. Now that she's back for round 2, and a more serious attempt, we're not so sure that anyone will even give her a second glance, giving a whole new meaning to the saying, 'Once you go Black, you never go back.'

Still, the teen isn't going to let haters get her down -- she's brushing her shoulders off and soaking in the scenery. "It's crazy just thinking about where I was a year ago. I was here a year ago in New York on a school trip with musical theater, and I would walk through Times Square," she said. "I was a total tourist, and now to be here on work and doing what I love ... It's such a dream." She added, "The song was written for me, and it really fit what was going on and all of the bully and hate topic is in right now with songs, and so it fit that as well. It's a very inspiring song."

Inspiring, sure, but we have to ask ... Did Becks forget that people were actually making fun of 'Friday'?

According to her, yeah. "Again, I wanted people to able to take me seriously because I felt like this would be the right thing to do," she said. "I wanted to start building what could be a really great career, but this industry, it's so unpredictable: You could be the big thing for a month or four months, and then kind of fall off the face of the planet. And I felt my whole team kind of felt like it was a great way to put me here for an amount of time."

We wish Black and her 'team' the best of luck in creating a professional career from a days-of-the-week joke, because we think Rebecca Black's moment has already come and gone. Dream big, girlfriend.
