Though the official announcement has yet to come, the Chicago Tribune is reporting that the Killers, Vampire Weekend, Mumford & Sons and the Postal Service will be headlining the annual festival that will take place in Chicago's Grant Park on Aug. 2-4.

Lollapalooza will probably be one of the last dates the Killers play on their Battle Born World Tour. By the time Aug. 2 rolls around, the band will have been touring for almost a full year after the release of their fourth studio album.

Vampire Weekend will be playing in support of their third album, 'Modern Vampires of the City,' which is due out on May 6. The band has been teasing this project for quite some time and finally played some of their new material at their SXSW gig. With these guys on the Lollapalozza lineup, you bet the festival will be a hot ticket as they've been on a hiatus for quite some time now.

Both Mumford & Sons and The Postal Service are both reportedly on the lineup. Mumford & Sons are, of course, coming off a monster year in 2012 with an Album of the Year win at the Grammys. The Postal Service will be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their hit album 'Give Up,' but perhaps they have some new material on the way with all their new performances!
