If you were concerned in any way over Rick Ross' comments earlier this week that he would never sign a woman to his record label for fear of "f-cking [them] and f-cking the business up," have no fear. He has officially apologized. Sincerity dripped off his words, even leading to promises of action on the following season of the VH1 show Signed, where artists can compete to land a spot on Maybach Music Group's roster or one of two other record labels.

He called the statement "A mistake I regret. I hope to use my mistake, my platform and the community to create positive discussion to implement change on a very important issue. Respect for the ones who stand up to say hey that isn't right."

"Many of the most talented artists you'll see in the running to be the next #MMG superstars are female artists," Ross said. "I look forward to clarifying my comments through my support."

Sounds great, Ross! Someone should give you an award for feminism. Can't wait to bump your newest female signee, as soon as you actually get one.
