Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross made his first public appearance on Wednesday (Nov. 2) in New York. The Miami boss was in town for fellow MMG artist Wale's album release party for his second LP 'Ambition.'

Dressed in a white t-shirt and jeans, Rozay didn't perform, instead he hung out onstage and watch Wale rock the mic for his die-hard fans in attendance. The D.C. native perform hit street hits like 'Nike Boots' and 'Tats on My Arm.' Also in the house was R&B crooners Ne-Yo and Miguel who perform alongside Wale on 'White Linen' and 'Lotus Flower Bomb,' respectively. Philly spitfire Meek Mill also hit the stage to celebrate Folarin's album release.

As for Ross, he seems to be in good spirits as he continues to stay visible in the public eye. In a recent interview with BET's '106 & Park,' the Bawse revealed that his seizures were caused by a lack of sleep due to a heavy touring schedule. “Wanting to be [the] No. 1 label in the game comes with sacrifices,” he said. “In my case, it was sleep. I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving … That has to stop.”

Wale's new album 'Ambition' is currently in stores, while Rick Ross' forthcoming LP 'God Forgives, I Don't' is due on Dec. 13.
