We all know that Rick Ross is a big eater -- just look at him! So, it makes sense that he would add chicken joints to his expansive business portfolio.

The Miami rapper recently inked a development agreement to open a chain of Wingstop restaurants with his first eatery opening in Memphis this fall. "After tasting Wingstop's signature Lemon Pepper-flavored wings in Miami, I knew this was a franchise I wanted to add to my investments," said Ross in a statement.

Wingstop CEO Jim Flynn concurs with Rozay's sentiments. "Rick Ross will be a great addition to the Wingstop family," he said. "He's a talented artist and brings a huge fan base to the concept. We look forward to growing the brand with him in Memphis."

Wingstop, which has over 480 restaurants in the United States and Mexico, specializes in cook-to-order boneless chicken wings and strips, as well as side-order dishes like potato salad and their award-winning fresh-cut seasoned fries.

Here at PopCrush, we are happy to see that Rick Ross is spreading his wings outside of rap. We wish him nothing but success in his new business venture.
