It's bye bye Broadway, hello small screen for Latin dynamo Ricky Martin. The singer/actor, MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam pitchman and father of adorable twin sons is leaving the production of 'Evita' on the Great White Way in order to focus on not one but two TV shows and a children's book. Sounds like his schedule is about to get loco!

"It's about growing," the 'Livin' La Vida Loca' singer said about the changes he is embarking on. "It's a moment in my life where I just need to absorb and be surrounded by amazing actors and musicians and grow as an entertainer. I think this is going to be an amazing year for that."

Martin will wrap his role in 'Evita' on Jan. 26. He'll head Down Under to appear on the second season of the Aussie version of 'The Voice.' So that's TV show numero uno.

As for the other show? Martin has a series he is developing for NBC. It is expected to be ready to go sometime in 2013. He will pull triple duty -- producing, writing and starring in a dramedy that is currently untitled. Martin envisions the series as a program that will tackle social issues with a bit of humor.

And as if the superstar wasn't busy enough, he is writing his second book. "I think it's time to write about things that I've been through with my kids that I'm sure many daddys out there will understand," Martin said. His experience with his sons Matteo and Valentino, 4, will certainly inform the pages of the book, which is said to be family fare that will encourage self-esteem. It's due out next summer.

There are a lot of exciting things on the horizon for Martin, that's for sure.
