Rihanna may never actually release her highly-anticipated eighth studio album Anti, but she's at least throwing another Diamond Ball.

According to Billboard, Lionel Richie will perform and Kevin Hart will host the event, which serves as a fundraiser for Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation.

The foundation, which was started in 2012, was named after Rihanna’s grandparents and "works to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health, education, arts and culture.”

Rihanna said, in a statement, "I’m so proud of the work the Clara Lionel Foundation has done in its first year and can't wait to celebrate with the iconic Lionel Richie and incredibly talented Kevin Hart at this year's Diamond Ball.”

Live Nation’s CEO, Michael Rapino, will reportedly be awarded the Diamond Honors Award during the event for his continued philanthropic work.

Rihanna’s statement continued, "This foundation is close to my heart and I am so grateful for Michael Rapino's support and commitment to our cause. No one is more deserving of the first Diamond Honors Award than him.”

Hopefully this year’s fundraiser will follow last year’s success — the ball raised over $2 million dollars which enabled the foundation to purchase new medical equipment for the Clara Braithwaite Center for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados.

The black-tie event is set to take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on December 5th. You can purchase tickets (which range from $3,000 to $100,000) over at the official site.
