Rihanna, ‘Shy Ronnie’ – Best SNL Skits

Rihanna wanted to create a new hip-hop and R&B anthem in the same vein as ‘Run This Town,’ but her collaborator, Shy Ronnie, refused to speak up when it came time for his solo, ruining the song.

“This beat cost a lot of money,” RiRi complained as Ronnie failed to muster the courage to deliver his lines in a normal tone of voice. “Should’ve just paid Kanye,” she finally declared before leaving. Of course, when Rihanna left the room, Ronnie came to life. RiRi later returned to SNL for a sequel called ‘Ronnie & Clyde.’
