Rihanna Cancels Boston Concert

Rihanna was forced to cancel her concert tonight (March 10) in Boston, to the dismay of her Navy. What happened? Is she taking her big break a lot earlier than expected?

RiRi's suffering a severe bout of laryngitis, and considering she's a singer (sometimes it's easy to forget since she spends so much time partying, posing nude or designing clothes), that pretty much renders her useless.

TMZ reports that LiveNation announced the postponement this morning. The touring giant said in a statement, "Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening."

The 'Diamonds' singer is still slated to go on with a concert in Baltimore this Tuesday (March 12) as scheduled. But have no fear, Boston fans: Rihanna's show will be rescheduled to a  later date when she's healthy and at 100 percent.
