Rihanna + Coldplay to Perform Together at the Grammys

Rihanna contributed vocals to Coldplay‘s song ‘Princess of China’ on ‘Mylo Xyloto.’ While it’s quite possible that RiRi, Chris Martin and co. were never in the same room when she laid down her vocals, thanks to the wonders of technology, they will get on the same stage this February, when they perform together for the first time at the Grammys.

RiRi tweeted the good news last night, posting: “#RihannaNavy My friends @ColdPlay and I will be sharing the stage for a performance at this years Annual Grammy Awards! #BONKERS.”

While RiRi did not indicate whether or not  they will perform ‘Princess of China,’ it’s a foregone conclusion that they will somehow incorporate their collab into the set. How could they not? Overall, it’s a big deal to have these pop music A-listers share a stage and engage in a performance, and we’re stoked to see what kind of electric chemistry RiRi and Martin have onstage.

The 54th Annual Grammys will air on Feb. 12 at 8PM ET on CBS. This is one perf you won’t want to miss.
