Rihanna was the victim of an almost-intruder last week, meaning she was an almost-victim and not just because she wasn't home. A man broke into a neighbor's house in her Pacific Palisades neighborhood, thinking he had entered Ri's home. For extra protection and because she is likely terrified, Rihanna wants a restraining order against the man, said to be an obsessed fan.

Steveland Barrow was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 21 after breaking into Ri's neighbor's swank pad. He said he was invited to 'Stay' and it was revealed that he had some sticky fingers and stole property.

The 'Stay' singer filed paperwork, claiming she fears for her safety. Barrow apparently isn't that big of a fan and hasn't been following her relationship with Chris Brown. Doesn't he realize that if he crosses the singer, he could get his face beaten to a pulp by her overprotective boyfriend? Breezy could get all Cro-Magnon on Barrow. Just sayin'.

A temporary restraining order has been issued to allay RiRi's fears. The intruder is not allowed within 100 yards of the singer. However, what's extra creepy is that the singer's lawyer says Barrow has been released from custody and no one has see neither hide nor hair of him since.

We're still scratching our heads over the fact that his name is Steveland. Be safe out there, Ri. Get a guard dog. Install another alarm. Travel with a bodyguard.
