Rihanna Throws Shade on Twitter as Chris Brown Breakup Rumors Continue

Rihanna uses Twitter as a personal diary of sorts, which may not be the best idea when you're a celeb who claims to value her privacy. In any case, more Chris Brown split rumors are emerging following yet another cryptic post by the Bajan beauty.

Following rumors of Breezy hooking up with ex Karrueche Tran in Paris, Rih wrote, "Never underestimate a man's ability to make you feel guilty for his mistakes." Granted, this can be taken a lot of different ways. Heck, it's almost a trademark sentiment of most abusive relationships, something for which Brown and Rihanna are notorious.

Still, it appears whatever went down isn't quite as serious as what happened back in February 2009. On Dec. 7, Rihanna posted an Instagram meme of herself reading "Claps for the basic b----es" with her own added caption of "A round of applause." The latter is potentially significant because it may be nod to the lyrics of her own song 'Take a Bow,' which uses the metaphor of a stage play to examine and kiss off a cheating lover -- and the "basic" insult may well be directed at Tran, who is an aspiring model but by no means a celebrity.

Still, Rihanna was thinking about Breezy on Dec. 8, posting a photo of his arm around her and writing, "D---, I miss my n----."

It appears that whatever's going down certainly isn't pretty -- but likely isn't quite as ugly as what predicated their original split in '09. If Brown if indeed with Tran again, it should prove to Rihanna what they say is true: "If he cheats with you, he'll cheat on you." Wise up, girl!
