Rihanna is the Queen...of not getting on with it when it comes to releasing new music that she has been hinting at for what feels like an eternity.

So while we still anxiously wait for the release of #R8 (ANTI), or at least an official announcement of its release date—the current theory is that it will drop on November 6 — Rihanna is busy instead getting involved with an upcoming film: Luc Besson's epic Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Variety reports.

The announcement came from Besson's own Instagram earlier Wednesday morning, and features Rihanna serving us some FKA Twigs-inspired realness:

RIHANNA is in VALERIAN!!!!! ....and she has a big part!! I'm Sooo excited!!!😊

What that "big part" is exactly, or what it will entail, is unknown at this point. What we do know, however, is that Rihanna joins an already star-studded cast that includes Dane DeHaan (The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Clive Owen, and funny face master Cara Delevingne (Paper Towns).

Rihanna's role in Valerian follows her involvement with the animated film Home released earlier in 2015, for which she lent her voice to the character of Gratuity "Tip" Tucci, a young girl who befriends the film's protagonist Oh (Jim Parsons).

Few specifics of Valerian's plot are known, either. For now, Variety tells us that the film is an adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Meziere. It is apparently set in the 28th century, following humanity's recent discovery of time-travel.

Filming for Valerian is scheduled to begin next January in France, with the film currently scheduled for theatrical release on July 21, 2017.

...And with any luck, we'll have Anti at some point before then.
